3D Print Cost Calculator

How Much to Charge for a 3D Print

Turn your real costs into a selling price that covers failed prints and your time.

How the price is built

Direct costs (material, electricity, machine wear) are divided by one minus your failure rate, so that the prints that fail are paid for by the ones that succeed. Your hands-on time is added next: removing supports, cleaning, packing. Markup goes on top.

What is not included

Marketplace fees, payment fees, shipping, packaging, taxes and design time are not in this calculator. Add them to the machine wear line or raise the markup if they apply to you.

This is a pricing aid, not business, tax or legal advice.
